The SS-839 Pro is the smallest 8-bay NAS in the market and can be easily deployed anywhere in the office. It is also an energy-saving storage solution with excellent cooling and low noise design. The power consumption of the NAS is only 34W in operation (in RAID 5 configuration with eight 500GB hard drives installed), which helps save your electricity expense to a large extent. Powered by Intel Atom 1.6 GHz CPU and 2GB DDRII memory, the SS-839 Pro supports RAID 0/ 1/ 5/ 6/ 5 + hot spare, single, and JBOD, Online RAID Capacity Expansion, and Online RAID Level Migration. The SS-839 Pro supports file sharing across Linux, UNIX, Mac, and Windows platforms.
