Product Description
ATEN's new 16-port Hideaway, KL1116, control unit allows access to multiple computers from a single KVM (keyboard, monitor, and mouse), console. A single KL1116 can control up to 16 computers, and as many as 31 additional units ( KH0116) can be daisy chained so a maximum of 512 computers can all be controlled from a single KL1116. The KL1116 offers a space-saving, streamlined approach to KVM technology by integrating a keyboard, LCD monitor, and touchpad in a 1U Hideaway housing. The LCD module and keyboard module slide independently so the keyboard can be out of the way while the display stands vertically flat against the rack for convenient viewing. Access to any computers in the installation is easily accomplished by a powerful, mouse driven, OSD (On Screen Display) menu system, or by Hotkey combinations from the keyboard. A convenient Auto Scan feature permits automatic sequential scanning of active computers. An additional console port on the rear of the unit allows remote, second user access either across the network / internet (CN5000) or from a removed location ( CE250 or CE252). There is no better way to save time and money than with a KL1116 installation.
