The DWL-905 includes two DWL-650 PCMCIA Wireless adapters and one DWL-1000AP Access Point. The D-Link DWL-1000AP is an IEEE 802.11b compliant 11 Mbps Ethernet wireless Access Point. Once activated with the network, it provides Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) operation for wireless networks delivering transparent bridging and roaming capabilities for wireless nodes. The D-Link DWL-650 is a high-speed 11 Mbps Ethernet wireless network adapter that plugs into your notebook PCs PCMCIA slot. Once connected with other networked PCs, it allows you to share hard disk drives, DVD drives, CD drives, Iomega Zip drives, printers and provides shared access to a modem for Internet access.
