Ultra compact and highly scaleable LTO tape library with SCSI, SAS and FibreChannel interface The second generation of the FibreCAT TX24 emphasizes multiple green characteristics. Besides saving data on tape, the more energy-efficient way to store data, the new systems are optimized for low power consumption when in operation, the use of environmentally friendly materials, as well as high and easy scalability. The other highlight of the new systems is, that they are equipped with SAS interfaces, the future-proof standard for high data transfer rates and trouble-free transmission. Depending on the model there is also a SCSI or FibreChannel interface available. Moreover one year on-site service and a full backup software bundle are included in the price. The FibreCAT TX24 S2 (2U) is able to store a maximum capacity of 38.4 TB (compressed) and is equipped with two drives for LTO-3 or LTO-4.
