the hp surestore tape library 10/100 is the newest member of hp's modular, scalable family of mid-range tape libraries. intended for medium-sized it centers with storage requirements of 3.2 to 10 tb, this library further expands the extraordinary flexibility currently offered by hp tape libraries. the hp tape library 10/100 is orderable with ultrium 230 or DLT 8000 drives in configurations of 6/80, 8/80,and 10/100 drives/slots. the library's 2-meter rack is also configurable using modules from hp's 40- or 60-slot libraries and adding capacity upgrade kits. equipped with redundant power supplies and hot-swap drives, the rack also accommodates other hp storage products such as the hp surestore virtual array 7400 modular disk array. with so many options for scaling, upgrading, and creating custom storage racks, the hp tape library 10/100 provides a versatile backup solution that delivers the reliability and high availability needed for mission-critical environments.
