Hummingbird Server Class Pineview with Dedicated Remote Management The ASUS Hummingbird is the smallest mini ITX (6.7”x6.7”) serverboard with onboard Atom Pineview Processor and Intel NM10 chipset, supports two single channel DDR2 667 SODIMM maximum up to 4GB, 1 x PCI-E x1(x1 link) or MIO audio card, and Windows & Linux (Redhat & SuSE) operating systems. It is designed for co-location, front-end web server, and ideal for IDC and storage server. Server Class Pineview with Dedicated Remote Management Latest Technology Support for Entry-Level Customers Based on latest Atom Pineview Processor and Intel NM10 chipset, the serverboard supports two single channel DDR2 667 SODIMM slot up to 4GB memory capacity, 2 SATA2 ports with RAID 0, 1 function, and 1 x PCI-E x1(x1 link) or MIO audio card to meet the demand of entry-level customers. Space-saving and Multi-Node Computing Power Hummingbird provides users a minimal total cost of ownership: its extreme petite size of 6.7”x6.7” provides space saving choices where users can fit 2 or 4 units into a standard chassis and build 168-Node back to back design in 42 rack cabinet. Ultra Low Power Consumption The ultra low power consumption of Hummingbird at ~30W allows user to effectively lower utility cost. The design of low power dissipation, passive heat sink and rack-ready design for airflow streamline all help to lower the total thermal solution cost. Dual Intel Server Class GbE Two server class Gigabit Ethernet Controllers provide high bandwidth and reliable network connection and support “Teaming” function, which allows two LAN ports can act link a single LAN to double traffic bandwidth; and “Network Redundancy” feature that prevents failover, even if one port fails, the networking connection will not be affected to minimize system downtime. Optional ASMB4-iKVM The board has one dedicated remote management LAN port, together with the optional ASMB4-iKVM remote management module to provide real-time remote control access based on BIOS-level to the system by keyboard, video monitor and mouse (KVM over Ethernet) from any local computer anywhere, anytime. The easy manageability makes Hummingbird ideal for IDC co-location, front-end web server for web hosting, storage server, load-balance, and appliance server. Wide Range of OS Support The serverboard supports Windows & Linux OS (Redhat & SuSE), making it available in most applications.
