The Broadcom 05-50076-00 is a MegaRAID 9580-8i8e Tri-Mode Storage Adapter, which is part of the industry's first PCIe Gen 4.0 RAID adapter family, offering PCIe Gen 4.0 host and storage interfaces. This adapter is based on the SAS3916 high-port count PCIe 4.0 x8 RAID-on-Chip (RoC) and delivers twice the performance of previous generations.
