The WG102 is fully compatible with the IEEE 802.11g wireless standard, it can be set to 54 Mbps or dynamic 108 Mbps for even faster, extended wire-free connectivity. This business-class wireless AP also delivers functionality for point-to-point and point-multi-point bridging and repeater modes to extend your wireless capability or join a wired Ethernet network. The featured 19 dBm transmits power and a high gain 5 dBi omni-directional antenna ensures optimal range and throughput. Support for NETGEAR’s ProSafe™ antennas for expanded wireless capacity and range. Management & Power over Ethernet (PoE) Integrated 802.3af-based Power over Ethernet support means that there is no need to locate the WG102 close to an electrical power output or trail cables across the office floor: Power can be transmitted over the Ethernet network instead. The WG102 also supports SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and associated network management software (including NETGEAR’s NMS100).
