This Dual Band Wireless Access Point supports both the 802.11g and 802.11a wireless standards for extensive wireless coverage; ideal for any organisation facing increasing mobile computing needs. Safe & Secure The WAG302 Dual Band Wireless Access Point comes with the latest security protocols, including the highest available wireless security standard, WPA2 Enterprise. 128/152-bit WEP encryption and advanced AES 256-bit encryption ensures the privacy of all wireless communication. 802.1x RADIUS server authentication controls wireless network access and centralises user authorisation across the wireless LAN. MAC address access control lists restrict access to network resources to pre-defined authorised computers and devices. This names just a few wireless security features available with the WAG302 Wireless Access Point. Efficient Technology The WAG302 with AutoCell™ intelligently chooses wireless channels and dynamically adjusts the power levels of the wireless access point to ensure coverage and avoid interference. The embedded IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) port expands deployment options by eliminating the need to locate the WAG302 near a power outlet. The WAG302 business class wireless point also supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and ProSafe Network Management System NMS100 (sold separately) to integrate your office wireless LAN with your wired infrastructure. The WAG302 wireless access point also supports Wireless Distribution System (WDS) for bridging and repeater modes - it can even be configured as a bridge and access point simultaneously. Easy to Set-up & Use The WAG302 Dual Band Wireless Access Point is simple to set-up and use. It is Plenum rated, appropriate for placement above drop-down ceilings and under raised floors. This wireless access point is also equipped with the convenient Smart Wizard™ browser-based interface for quick installation.
