Dynamic Multiblade Versatility Working with the AB7000 blade enclosure, the AB2x280 F1 maximizes density, availability, computing power, and manageability by sharing the same power supplies, cooling fans, management utilities and network switches. It also delivers outstanding energy efficiency in a dense environment. Optimized for HPC Environments HPC environments will greatly benefit from the massive capabilities delivered by 10 fully configured blades in a single enclosure, powered by up to 4 (2 per node) Intel® Xeon® 5500/5600 Series Processors per blade. Plus, 16 DIMM slots per blade (8 per node) provide ample and speedy processing for memory-intensive applications, and up to 40 HDDs in a single enclosure offer a whopping 20TB of SATA storage capacity. High Availability and Reliability Software RAID 0, 1 support provides superior fault tolerance and data security. Hot-pluggable and modular components, including power supplies, Ethernet switches, InfiniBand™ modules, management modules and HDDs, maximize system uptime and productivity.
