It also offers complete system management through ASUS ASMB6-iKVM and ASWM Enterprise. Server-wide performance and expandability The TS700-X7/PS4 offers extreme memory capacity with up to 256GB of DDR3, and is capable of handling diverse expansion cards. Sporting an Intel® C602-A socket and loaded with PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, it supports workstation-grade graphics cards, making it excellent for dual use as a server and workstation with high-end performance in both categories. Hot-swap bays offer additional storage and optical drive room, plus an ASUS PIKE slot offering multiple storage options, direct SAS/SATA RAID upgrades can be achieved via a unique slot — without sacrificing expansion capability. Comprehensive server management The ASMB6-iKVM enables dashboard system health monitoring, remote power on/off and control, virtual media over LAN, and management LAN fail-over support. In addition, the ASMB6 function is based on BIOS-level access, so even if the server operating system is down or offline, the KVM module can still provide round-the-clock remote monitoring and diagnosis through a user-friendly web-based graphical interface through all major browsers. ASWM Enterprise software provides one-to-multiple centralized management including BIOS flash, remote control, power control through a colorful, graphical, and informative interface. Rack-mount and pedestal positioning Besides working as a pedestal server, the TS700-X7/PS4 is also rack-mountable with the optional rack-mount kit, saving space and consolidating with the many systems required by growing businesses. Tool-less design The accessible and friendly server layout allows users to replace the rear fans, 5.25” optical drives, system fans, and hard drive cages with great ease and no tools, saving significant time and effort.
