The TRON TA/128 professional terminal adapter offers business and teleworkers alike reliable and fast ISDN access to intranets, remote LAN's and the Internet. The TRON TA/128 is designed for optimal use with almost all systems and networking software. Long term operational reliability is guaranteed by the high quality of manufacturing and by rigorous testing procedures. The built-in flashrom enables the firmware in the TRON TA to be updated via downloads from the Internet, there-by assuring compatibility with future standards. The two built-in serial ports enables the TRON TA to be connected to two computers at the same time, in addition the two analog POTS ports (Plain Old Telephone System) allow's one to use standard telephone equipment such as fax, telephone and answering machine. Making the Tron TA the ideal product for use in small business environments. With the bundled configuration software you can setup a secure access connection to central sites which prevents unauthorized access to your system or LAN, this is achieved using CLI. The Tron TA series utilises the latest technology, assuring full compatibility with all current and future communication protocols.
