The Targus Privacy Screen is designed to fit 24-inch (16:9) edge-to-edge infinity widescreen monitors (approx. panel size 54.0 x 30.3 cm). To protect your information, tiny vertical blinds on the surface of the screen narrow the viewing angle so data is only visible directly in front of the monitor up to 30 degrees away from the centre of the screen. Onlookers will only see a dark unclear screen when attempting to view the information from a side angle. In addition to providing security, the Privacy Screen also has a matte side which is designed to block glare to help reduce eye strain. The Targus Privacy Screen can be easily attached by using clear adhesive strips or with the included magnetic strips that stick to the edge of the monitor to hold the privacy screen in place and easily remove for intermittent use. Highly portable and easy to use, the Targus Privacy Screen protects valuable information on an LCD monitor from onlookers. Reduced Glare, Even in Bright Rooms For an added benefit, our Privacy Screens come with a dual finish – with one side being glossy for a clearer view, while the opposite side offers a matte finish to help reduce glare. Our anti-reflective coating reduces glare and improves light transmittance under most viewing conditions. The result is brightness that’s up to 12.4% higher than competitive privacy screens for comfortable, clear views. Three Easy Installation Options Maintain privacy while maximising your viewing area. Quickly and easily attach the screen directly to your display using one of the three convenient installation options. Magnetic attachment: Attach magnetic hinges to the top of the privacy screen and the magnetic strip to the top of the display to create a seamless on/off experience. Long adhesive strips: Stick on to the LCD screen for a firm, fixed hold. Long adhesives can be used up 50 times and are able to be cleaned with water or tape to remove any dust before reuse. Universal flexi-hinges: Attach to the top of the privacy screen and over the top of the laptop to create a seamless on/off experience with a simple flip. Use the included adhesive lift tab, to easily flip from privacy mode to public mode without fingerprints. Flexi-hinges can flip over 1000 times. Blue Light Filtering Whilst blue light is all around us, too much screen time can lead to increased exposure of artificial blue light, The Targus® Privacy Screen filters blue light by up to 40%.
