Readily plugged into a free USB port of your PC, it operates as a MobilePort in your wireless PC network once the software has been loaded into your PC. I-GATE 11M USB is compatible with all other I-GATE 11M components. When selecting the ad hoc mode, the use of USB MobilePorts allows you to easily set up a temporary network, e.g. during workshops, projects or meetings. I-GATE 11M USB MobilePort features an integrated antenna and delivers stable data transmission. Authentication as well as encryption (WEP) provide for optimum security. The USB MobilePort automatically selects the fastest radio network connection as well as optimum data transfer rate of 11 Mbps, 5.5 Mbps, 2 Mbps or 1 Mbps. I-GATE, the wireless PC network, is a complete system solution from a single source.
