Support of the Extreme edition is provided if you desire the fastest clock frequency available. While the second generation Pentium D Processor delivers an excellent performance option (including 2 MB on the L2 cache per core) at a low price. Advanced high-performance visualization • The HP Leadership Graphics Program offers an extensive variety of tested and certified graphics cards. From professional 2D through high-end 3D graphics, the HP xw4400 has the graphics choice to deliver the visual accuracy and image clarity your job demands. Additionally, the HP xw4400 offers support for multi-display. A second NVIDIA NVS285 PCIe card enables inexpensive quad display while a second NVIDIA FX 1500 graphics card allows you to use 4 displays with mid-range 3D graphics on each. Expandability • Integrate numerous expansion options with up to 4 internal hard drives, up to 2 optical disks, optional floppy, 1 PCIe x16 graphics slot, 1 PCIe x1 slot, 1 PCIe x4 (x16 connector) slot, and 3 legacy PCI slots. Convertible minitower chassis with tool-less design • The HP xw4400 features a versatile, convertible minitower chassis which allows you to use the workstation as a deskside solution or in a desktop configuration. PTF also provides application tuning, generating performance increases for selected applications. The HP Client Manager Software (based on an integrated portfolio of solutions from HP and Altiris) assists HP customers in managing the hardware aspects of their client computers—including in-depth hardware information tracking, alert monitoring, diagnostics, and driver/BIOS management.
