This is a 1-meter passive copper direct attach breakout cable compatible with Cisco QSFP-4SFP10G-CU1M. It connects a 40G QSFP port on one end to four 10G SFP+ ports on the other end. It is designed for very short-distance interconnections within racks or across adjacent racks, offering a cost-effective and low-power consumption solution for 40G to 10G breakout applications. The cable is made of passive copper (Twinax), often rated at AWG30, and is permanently linked to MSA compatible QSFP+ (SFF-8436) and SFP+ (SFF-8431) transceiver assemblies at each end.
