Offering true Powered USB (USB PlusPower) versatility, this 2 port 12V/24V Powered USB Adapter Card acts as the daughter board component to StarTech.com's 3 Port PCI 12V Powered USB Card (PCI312PUSB), expanding the number of Powered USB ports provided for a total of five Powered USB ports. Alternatively, the adapter card does not require a direct connection to the motherboard PCI local bus, letting you install the card as a standalone 2 port Powered USB card. The StarTech.com Advantage -Connector locking mechanism prevents cables from being unplugged accidentally. -Provides extra powered USB ports with different voltages. -Two operating modes allow you to connect it to a Powered USB Main Board or a mother board of a PC using an extension cable. Features -Can connect to a Powered USB Main Board or a mother board of a PC using an extension cable. -Doesn’t require a PCI slot. -Provides 2 powered USB ports that supply 24V and 12V power. -Provides 3A of current for each port. -4 pin Din connector acts as an optional external 24V AC adapter. -Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1.
