NEB M0437 T4 RNA Ligase 1 (ssRNA Ligase), High Concentration is a molecular biology enzyme designed for ligation of single-stranded RNA and DNA. It catalyzes formation of a 3′ to 5′ phosphodiester bond between a 5′ phosphoryl-terminated donor and a 3′ hydroxyl-terminated acceptor, using ATP. The high-concentration formulation provides 30,000 units/ml, three times the concentration of NEB's standard T4 RNA Ligase 1, making it useful for lower-volume reactions. M0437 is supplied with T4 RNA Ligase Reaction Buffer, PEG 8000, and ATP. It is suitable for applications including RNA cloning and RNA/DNA ligation.
