These features include Adaptive Active Filtering (AAF), Packetization and Quick Arbitration and Selection (QAS). Adaptive Active Filtering is a Maxtor technology innovation that allows the drive to adapt to changing system configurations and components while optimizing signal quality. This translates into lower error rates, easier integration, and increased bus efficiency for optimal system performance. Ultra320 SCSI provides the highest ever data bus bandwidth and is designed to handle the most demanding enterprise server applications.
