The Aruba IAP-305 is an entry-level 802.11ac Wave 2 Indoor Wireless Access Point from the Aruba 300 Series. It features dual radio support with 3x3:3SS MU-MIMO capability on the 5GHz band (up to 1,300 Mbps max rate) and 2x2 MIMO on the 2.4GHz band (up to 400 Mbps max rate), achieving an aggregate peak data rate of 1.7Gbps. It supports both Controller-managed and Aruba Instant (controller-less) modes and includes an integrated Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) Aruba Beacon for location services. The AP has integrated downtilt omni-directional antennas optimized for ceiling mounting.
