These 10G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables are designed to support connections for 10 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet switches with 10 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet uplink, much more faster than SFP which only supports 2.5 Gbps Gigabit Ethernet. With two cable models including the DEM-CB100S and DEM-CB300S, these cables are suitable for short distances up to 3 metres, and is ideal for highly cost-effective networking connectivity between switches and servers within a rack or in adjacent racks. These 10G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables are certified to be compatible with D-Link products to provide you best performance and reliability. Ideal for High-Bandwidth Operations These D-Link 10G Passive SFP+ Twinaxial Direct Attach Cables support speeds of up to 10 Gbps, while having lower latency and power consumption than other cables types such as 10GBASE-CX4 and CAT6/CAT6A 10GBASE-T. This makes it an optimal solution for handling high bandwidth transmission within short distances such as inside energy-efficient data centres.
