D-Link's Wireless N technology also means superior whole home coverage and a robust signal throughout whilst eliminating dead spots. The router can be used on any ADSL, ADSL2 or ADSL2+ type of Internet connection, as it has a modem built-in. Robust network protection The router's built-in Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall makes it more difficult for hackers to penetrate your network. Robust parental controls are included, which allow blocking or, permit specific web sites completely or at certain times of the day. This security feature has been made exceptionally easy to configure on the router. On the wireless side, MAC filtering and powerful encryption can be configured for secure data transfers and to refuse access to intruders trying tapping into your broadband connection.
