The Cisco IP Conference Phone 8832 is a business-class conference phone designed for large meeting rooms and executive offices, providing simple, flexible, and scalable audio conferencing with exceptionally clear and natural audio quality. It features a sleek, modern design with a textile cover for soft touch and durability, a large mute button with an LED indicator, and a single USB-C port. The base unit provides 360-degree coverage for a 20x20-foot room with up to 10 participants. Coverage can be expanded with optional wired extension microphones (up to 20x34 feet/22 participants) or wireless extension microphones (up to 20x40 feet/26 participants). A daisy-chain configuration of two 8832 units with optional wireless extension mics covers up to a 20x57-foot room with up to 42 participants. It uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for signaling and supports various codecs, including G.711, G.729, iLBC, G.722, and Opus. It supports IPv4 and IPv6 and is compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at
