Juniper ACX1100-AC Universal Metro Router is a compact, environmentally hardened access router designed for high-bandwidth metro and access-network deployments. It provides up to 60Gbps system throughput with eight 1GbE copper interfaces and four 1GbE combo interfaces supporting either copper or fiber connectivity. The ACX1100 platform integrates a Routing Engine and Packet Forwarding Engine in a compact 1U chassis and supports IP/MPLS-based service delivery. Its passively cooled, fanless design enables quiet operation and deployment in locations where temperature tolerance and limited cooling are important. The ACX1100-AC version uses AC power and supports 90–240V AC input. Juniper specifies operation from -40°C to 65°C, making the router suitable for demanding access-network environments.
