The Acuity AC-100 is an advanced acoustic glass break sensor designed to detect the sounds produced by the shattering of framed glass. It incorporates Dynamic Signal Processing to provide accurate detection of Plate, Laminated, Wired, and Tempered glass types while rejecting common false alarm sounds. The AC-100 features a form A alarm contact. The AC-101 model includes a tamper switch, and the AC-102 includes a form C contact and tamper switch. It has a selectable detection level via Jumper J3, factory preset to Level 1 (highest sensitivity) suitable for most applications, including larger rooms or those with sound-absorbing surfaces. For optimum protection, the detector should have a direct line of sight to the protected glass and should be mounted at least 1.8m (6 feet) off the ground.
