The Intel X540-T2 is a dual-port 10GbE adapter that brings 10GbE performance to a broad range of servers using cost-effective, familiar RJ-45 copper connectivity (Cat6/6a). Its single-chip design reduces cost and power consumption. It supports Unified Networking by enabling LAN, iSCSI, and FCoE traffic over the same adapter, and offers advanced I/O virtualization features like Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP) and SR-IOV.
