The HPE MSL3040 is a highly scalable, modular tape library providing a cost-effective, cyber-resilient solution for long-term data protection and archival. It scales from 40 to 640 cartridge slots and supports up to 48 LTO-9 drives, achieving up to 28.8 PB of compressed capacity in a single 19-inch rack. It is designed to maximize ROI through better rack space utilization (600 TB per 1U) and the ability to reuse existing MSL LTO upgrade drive kits.
