It provides hardware acceleration for security algorithms (like AES, SHA, RSA, DH, DSA, ECC) and compression/decompression (DEFLATE), while reserving processor cycles for application and control processing. It also supports acceleration for Common Mobile Wireless Standards like 5G (KASUMI, Snow 3G, ZUC).
