HPE Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 Kit

The HPE 745823-B21 is a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 Kit designed to enhance security capabilities for HPE Gen9 servers. This hardware security chip integrates with the server to provide a hardware root of trust, securely storing artifacts like passwords and cryptographic keys. It performs key security processes independent of other hardware components, creating and storing additional encryption keys from the system's root key to encapsulate system application encryption keys for an extra layer of security for sensitive data. It automatically protects drive lock passwords, stored passwords, and certificate private keys. Once installed, the server and TPM pair, and the server owns the TPM, which cannot be moved to another device without data on the original server being cryptographically erased.
