The MIMO Wireless Turbo G USB Adapter is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 adapter that allows you to connect your desktop PC or notebook to wireless networks at farther distances than before. This USB Adapter is compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g wireless access points and wireless routers, giving you the flexibility to start upgrading your wireless network without the need to replace your existing equipment. Improved Connectivity The MIMO Wireless Turbo G USB Adapter utilizes MIMO XR (multiple in, multiple out) antenna technology and, when used with the Wireless Turbo G with MIMO Router, allows you greater flexibility in choosing a location for your desk or office. The Smart Antenna technology includes two antennas for signal reception and high-power signal transmission, effectively eliminating dead spots and automatically adjusting for interference caused by cordless phone users and such. Customers using MIMO technology can typically expect to increase the range of their wireless network connections 10 times the distance of standard wireless G products. 1 Increased Throughput The MIMO Wireless Turbo G USB Adapter is capable of utilizing the Packet-OVERDRIVE Turbo Mode feature to provide higher data throughput than the IEEE 802.11g standard.
