It can fit up to 14 disk drives and features dual cooling fans. The unit is a hard drive array enclosure supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and ADG. It includes 2 x Ultra320 SCSI external I/O ports and has 14 3.5" drive bays. The storage controller has 256 MB of cache, which is expandable to 512 MB max. It includes two hot-plug power supplies with 1+1 redundancy scheme. The unit is rack-mountable (4U) and comes with a status LCD and LED panel.
