The Adaptec 2277500-R (ASR-8805) is a 12Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID Controller Card featuring a PCIe Gen 3 x8 host interface, 8 internal ports via 2x SFF-8643 connectors, and 1GB of cache. It supports a wide range of RAID levels including 0, 1, 1E, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. The card is designed in an MD2 Low Profile form factor and utilizes the PMC PM8063 ROC. It can support up to 16 native SAS/SATA ports and up to 256 SAS and SATA devices.
