The 180DX offers a standard RS-232 serial port for the convenient transfer of flash software upgrades Plug and Play Compliant - Compliance with Microsoft's DDC Plug and Play standards allow for the detailed electronic data of compatible video modes to be automatically transferred from the monitor to the Windows system through the video cable. This automatically will optimise the display system for use with the console switch 1U, EIA Rack Mountable - OUTLOOK 180DX has a 1U rack-mountable design
