The Gigabit PC Card is designed to support 1 Gbps network speed, 10 times faster than 100Base-TX Ethernet and 100 times faster than 10Base-T Ethernet. Auto-Negotiation The Gigabit PC Card will automatically detect the network speed that the LAN switch port is set to and run at the same speed. The card supports 10Base-T Ethernet , 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet and 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet. Full Duplex When running in full duplex mode, the Gigabit PC Card provides the following throughput rates: 20 Mbps (10Base-T Ethernet), 200 Mbps (100Base-TX Fast Ethernet) and 2 Gbps (1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet). Built-in Diagnostics The Gigabit PC Card comes standard with crossover detection, auto correction and pair swap/polarity/skew correction to make installation and maintenance a snap.
