Open-frame racks suit secured rooms where airflow and access matter more than physical security — they are cheaper, lighter, and easier to cable. Enclosed cabinets add lockable doors and side panels, directed front-to-back airflow, and a finished appearance, making them the standard for shared spaces, offices, and colocation.
